This course focuses on the interconnected roles of teachers within the school and broader community, with special emphasis on the Philippine Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system. It explores
the socio-cultural and political contexts of education, the nature of school culture and organizational leadership, and the mechanisms of community engagement and partnership. Students will analyze the structure
and governance of TVET institutions and demonstrate the ability to design community involvement programs aligned with educational goals. The course combines theory and practice through reflection activities,
case studies, and community-based projects that prepare pre-service teachers to become ethical, culturally responsive, and community-centered education leaders.
