This course explores the professional, ethical, legal,
and societal issues that affect the field of Information Systems (IS). Students
will engage with topics such as data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual
property, digital ethics, professional conduct, and regulatory compliance. The
course also examines the role of professional organizations, codes of ethics,
and standards in shaping IS practice.
