Northlink Technological College successfully conducted the NTC Earthquake Drill as part of its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and resilience within the campus community.
Students, faculty, staff, and school personnel actively participated in the activity by practicing the proper emergency response procedures during an earthquake. Through the observance of the “DROP, COVER, and HOLD” protocol, NTCians were reminded of the importance of remaining calm, alert, and prepared during unexpected situations.
The drill also emphasized the value of cooperation, discipline, and presence of mind in ensuring everyone’s safety during emergencies. Participants were encouraged to treat the activity seriously since preparedness today can help save lives tomorrow.
