Last February 19 and February 27, the campus of Northlink Technological College hosted Campus Fest 2026, bringing together students from different strands and programs in a two-day celebration anchored on the theme, โLevel Up: Skills, Creativity, Excellence.โ
The festival opened with a joint Opening Program at the Annex Court, uniting participants from the IT Festival, Tourism Festival, and the Academics, Culture, and Arts Festival. The event set the tone for a meaningful showcase of student competencies across various disciplines.
During the IT Festival, students from BSIS, DIT, ACT, TVL-ICT, and BTVTED participated in IT Skills competitions, E-Sports, and an Academic Competition held in the IT Laboratories. The Pitching Presentation and Research Colloquium further highlighted studentsโ analytical thinking and innovation, allowing them to present ideas and research outputs before peers and evaluators. On the second day, the Industry and Career Boosters session provided practical insights aligned with their chosen fields, followed by the awarding and closing program.
Simultaneously, the Tourism Festival featured seminars and workshops, as well as skills demonstrations and lectures conducted at La Taza. These activities emphasized hands-on learning and professional preparation for students under DHRT and TVL-HE. The Tourism Skills Competition on the second day allowed participants to apply what they learned in a structured and performance-based setting, culminating in an awarding ceremony.
The Academics, Culture, and Arts Festival also ran parallel activities for HUMSS, STEM, ABM, and GAS students. Highlights included Theatre Broadway for a Cause at the Function Hall, the Food Expo, a Team Building Activity for STEM, a Poetry Contest for HUMSS, and a Sudoku competition for selected strands. The Zero Waste Art Competition promoted environmental awareness and creativity, reinforcing social responsibility among students. The strand-based activities concluded with their respective awarding and closing program at the Annex Court.
Campus Fest 2026 was not merely a celebration but an avenue for students to demonstrate knowledge, creativity, collaboration, and practical skills. Through competitions, performances, workshops, and academic presentations, the event reflected the institutionโs commitment to developing well-rounded learners prepared for both professional pathways and community engagement.
