Northlink Conducts Tree Planting and Team Building Activity at Farmville

On March 31, 2026, Northlink Technological College successfully held a one-day Tree Planting and Team Building Activity at Northlink Farmville in Tagum City. The event brought together the NTC scholars, student leaders, faculty, and staff in a meaningful day of environmental action and collaboration.

The activity commenced with a brief orientation, followed by a guided farm tour led by Ms. Rizza Cawas. During the tour, participants were introduced to the diverse plants cultivated on the farm, as well as the various animals present, giving them a deeper appreciation of sustainable farming practices and the farm’s ecosystem.

Also present during the activity were School President Gen. Simeon P. Dizon Jr. (Ret), Executive Vice President Madam Evangeline M. Dizon, Corporate Secretary Atty. Mae Simonette Dizon-Corona, School Administrator Engr. Gracelda T. Pangantihon, along with selected faculty members, guests, and staff. Their presence and insights further enriched the participants’ understanding of the farm’s operations and sustainability initiatives.

Following the tour, participants engaged in a tree planting activity, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

In the afternoon, scholars and student leaders took part in a series of team building activities designed to enhance teamwork, cooperation, and leadership skills.

More than just a one-day event, the activity served as a valuable opportunity to foster unity, environmental awareness, and collaboration among members of the Northlink community highlighting the importance of shared responsibility in building a more sustainable future.
